NPR Radio affiliate, WKSU-FM, previewed our Cyber Safety program, and interviewed guest speaker, Portage County CIO, Brian Kelley. 

Akron radio station WAKR-AM featured teacher Matt Russ and Portage County CIO Brian Kelley during an interview on the Ray Horner morning show. The two appeared to talk about our Cyber Safety @ Home & School event, which was about keeping kids safe online.

March 31, 2016 

The Westside Leader/Akron.com, carried a picture of professional dancer Brian Murphy just about to take a bow with our 3rd and 4th grade students, after their dance performance at the Akron Art Museum on March 17.

The Westside Leader/Akron.com ran a story about a group of teachers from China who visited our school in hopes of learning how to more effectively teach English as a second language.

Our innovative, entrepreneurial coffee/charity curriculum made headlines in the Akron Legal News, with a story about how University of Akron Law students talked to our 5th and 6th grade students about copyright, trademark, and other issues related to starting a business.

An interview with our Head of School, Sam Chestnut, was featured in a "Back to School" story published by The Cleveland Jewish News. 

Our digital storytelling project with the Northern Cheyenne was featured in the Westside Leader this week. 

WKSU reporter Vivian Goodman did a storyabout the day in May when our students joined with students from the Northern Cheyenne Nation to bake bread. 

Our Lara Downes benefit concert was also highlighted on Clevelandclassical.com,  Patch.com,  Eventful.com, Summitcountycalendar.com, Ohio.com, and in The Akron Beacon Journal (print edition). She was also interviewed on Cleveland's classical radio station, WCLV. Click here to listen.
