Lippman Students Win Awards in the 26th Annual Akron Holocaust Arts & Writing Contest

Lippman School students were honored for their contributions to the City of Akron's 26th Annual Holocaust Arts& Writing Contest.
 
This year's theme was Women of the Holocaust: Stories of Loss, Resistance, and Survival".
 
They won 2nd place and an Honorable Mention in the Visual Art Division, and both 1st and 4th place in the Media Division.

The City of Akron Holocaust Committee runs this contest each year, because they believe that the lessons of the Holocaust are important because man's inhumanity to man continues to threaten world freedom.
